Counties of New York State


Our ancestors lived in many New York Counties. The Stewarts lived in Oyster Bay on Long Island before migrating to Susex County, Deleware.

The Van Hoosers lived at Fort Orange (Albany), Claverack, and Van Hoesen all in Albany County.

The Littles lived in Cayuga County.

The DeLongs began in Ulster County and proceeded to migrate through Dutchess, Columbia and Oneida Counties before out direct ancestor Ralph Henry DeLong traveled to Nauvoo, Illinois and his son, Albert, followed the Mormon trail to Utah.
